I found Heather at a time when I was really struggling with Amos. He is an absolutely wonderful and loving dog, but as a puppy, he was more challenging than most, being a sensitive soul, very mouthy, and prone to being insecure/nervous around other dogs. Heather didn’t hesitate to take him into the pack, which was a relief because a lot of dog walkers/trainers won’t come close to a dog like Amos.
On their weekly adventures, she taught Amos how to remove himself when he’s overwhelmed, remain calm, developed his confidence, and how to behave/check in off leash. She also taught me by sharing tips when I finally started taking Amos off leash to 1000 Acres. The Puptalk crew really set Amos up for success in all aspects of dog life. I see it all the time.
Besides the weekly adventures, I had Heather and crew watch Amos many times over the years. I never worried whenever he was in their care. I knew he was getting the attention and love he needed, and I knew he was safe. I also received a lot of pictures and updates.
To be a part of the Puptalk Crew for 5 years was incredible, and I feel so lucky and happy for Amos that we found them. If we hadn’t moved out of state, you better believe Amos would still be running with them.
